What matters? What’s next?
These questions were addressed at the Your Voice sessions at the conference, and anyone is welcome to offer their input in the online survey.
Question 1: What Matters?
If you work at the service delivery level:
- What matters most in delivering culturally competent health care?
- What pressing issues or challenges do you face in your day-to-day work in cultural and linguistic competence? What would you “fix” if you could?
If you work at the policy or research level:
- In your field of expertise/interest, what practice or policy level issues do you see as most needing attention?
Question 2: What’s Next?
Whether you work in service delivery or policy/research:
- What solutions, tools and/or policies are needed to address some of the concerns you identified above?
- What solutions, programs or policies have you learned about recently (or at this conference) that seem promising?
- What is needed to refine, consolidate, and advance the field and the work that you do?
